2005 up to 2023 Sundown Audio Tacoma Bass Package

I am glad I got the package deal as this gives you everything you need to install into your truck. I have a 2019 Tacoma, and this went in without problem. I purchased a T harness and an amp mount for under my seat separate from this package, but you really do not need to do that as a LOC is included in the kit and I could have found another way to mount the amp. If you are hesitant on 6.5 subs don't be as these Sundown seem to have no problem hitting the lows and they slam. Box is built very well, shipping was really good, and it was packed perfectly. I wish I would have bought this sooner. If I could give this more stars I would. Forrest was excellent to deal with and was quick to answer any questions I had as they came up. If you have a Tacoma this has to be one of the best boxes available, and I did a lot of research into 6.5 subs, these Sundown are not in the same realm of what 6.5 subs were 10 years ago these subs and the box are amazing for the space we have to deal with in these trucks. I have had bass set ups in the past in other vehicles and know if I would have got a different set up in the Tacoma, I would have been disappointed, but I am thoroughly impressed with this Maui Sounds package.

I recently purchased the Tacoma Sundown Audio package from Maui Sounds, and all I can say is this box absolutely SLAMS. The bass is heavy-hitting, deep, and powerful, but at the same time the sound is incredibly clean and controlled. There’s zero distortion, no rattling, just pure, demand-your-attention bass that still lets the rest of the audio come through crystal clear.
The low end is seriously impressive—extreme deep bass that makes everyone think you’ve got two 12’s in the back, when in reality it’s three 6.5’s. That alone blows people’s minds. This setup punches way above its size and delivers performance you wouldn’t expect unless you heard it yourself.
At $2,450, yeah, it hurts a little upfront—but hands down, this is the best money I’ve ever spent on audio. Once you hear it, you realize it’s not just worth it, it’s 110% worth it. Easily the best bang for your buck if you want serious bass without sacrificing sound quality or space.
On top of the product itself, the customer service is exceptional. Forest answered every single question I had extremely fast, which makes a huge difference when you’re spending thousands of dollars. That level of responsiveness and professionalism really gives you confidence and makes the whole experience feel that much better.

This box and subs are amazing! After 3 months of reviews and UTUBE on MAUI I was convinced on getting these subs. Go big or go home they said. I wanted something different, so i went with 6 1/2 subs while all my tacoma friends have 12 inch subs.The sound that comes out of these 61/2 subs are deep and low. Everyday at the traffic light, the car next to me ask me do I have 2 twelve subs . I keep it low just enough for a rumble. My tacoma friends all went big on thier subs. I went small and got the same power and looks that they have. I recommend this for all Tacomas, don't nock it till you try it. Great quality box and super heavy motor on these subs. I purchased the hole kitt with amp and cables. I gonna clean the tacoma up and put it in a neighborhood car show to see the response I get. Thanks MAUI SOUNDS.
