2005 up to 2023 TACOMA DOUBLE CAB PORTED ENCLOSURE WITHOUT SUBS (DEMO VIDEO IN LAST SLIDE)

This box is way above my expectations, plays the lows, plays the highs both loud and clear ! I was surprised how fast in came in too! The box fit in great without cutting the baby seat anchors and now I have loud deep bass and all my seating space back :D

The box is super well made and arrived pretty quickly. Shipping price (I thought) was a bit excessive but it’s big, heavy and came a long way so I get it. To get this to fit in my 2021 Tacoma I had to remove the mounts that hold the plastic in place behind the seats. All the description said was the child restraints would have to be bent a 1/4”. I had to physically remove the mounts otherwise the box would definitely not fit. Was it a big deal? Not really since I own the truck… but to someone else, that might be a deal breaker. I used 3 x CT Sounds 6.5” TROPO subs and they knock harder than my 10s I had in previously. Definitely a 5 star box for fit and finish but 1 star removal for the cutting required.

Ill have to give a review update when I get a bigger amp and do some sound deadening. But so far the lows hit really hard. I previously was running 2 12inch kicker comp r. And these 6.5s seem to hit just as hard especially the low bass. Forest answered all my questions quickly and the box was pretty easy to get in with no cutting or bending

Let me start off by saying, the customer service this company provides is top notch. Shipped Fedex 2day which I really appreciate. The subwoofer box is rock solid and high quality. I installed 3 Sundown U6.5's, fit like a glove. Coming from two 10's in a sealed box to this bad boy is night and day. I am feeding the subs 1,5000 watts @ 1.33ohms, they slam and sound super clean. The port size, tuning frequency and box size is right on spec for what Sundown calls for which shows by the performance. I listen to many genres of music, this box performs great in all of them. Definitely super pumped on this purchase. No, it's not cheap but you get what you pay for. I am happy to rep and support Maui Sounds.
